Edgar Legoale Foundation Statement on the 2024 Matric Final Exams

The Edgar Legoale Foundation extends its best wishes to the matric class of 2024 as they begin their final examinations today, Monday, 21 October 2024. This is a significant milestone, and while matric exams are known for their challenges, they also present an opportunity for learners to demonstrate their dedication and hard work over the years.

Matric exams are undoubtedly demanding and require focus and determination. We encourage all learners to stay focused, avoid panic, and give their best efforts. As you step into the exam room, remember that this is your moment to shine. The Foundation calls on all learners to uphold integrity and avoid cheating, as dishonesty could lead to severe consequences, including removal from the exam room and the nullification of results. This is a crucial time to safeguard your future, and academic integrity should remain at the forefront of your efforts.

Earlier this year, we hosted a gala dinner in honour of the class of 2023, where Yakhisizwe High School and its top learner were recognised for their outstanding achievements. We are excited to continue this tradition, and we hope to see even more success stories from Parys and beyond.”
