Building on a strong legacy of community engagement and football excellence, this year’s tournament promises to be bigger, more impactful, and more inspiring than ever.

All Tumahole high schools will participate in this exciting showcase of emerging talent ahead of the main tournament.

📍 Mandela Sports Ground, near Boitlamo Secondary School, Tumahole, Parys Free State

A total of 16 teams will compete in a knockout format, with FREE affiliation to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.

Prize Money
🥇 1st Prize: R40,000
🥈 2nd Prize: R10,000

This theme reflects our commitment to promoting positive lifestyles, healthy choices, and youth development through sport.

Edgar Legoale, Chairman of the Foundation, says:

“Soccer is more than a game — it is a tool to build character, unity, and hope. This Easter, we want our players to understand that their dreams and goals are far greater than the temptations that can destroy their future.”

Beyond football, the tournament will create opportunities for local vendors, entertainment, and community engagement — making it a true celebration for Tumahole and surrounding areas.
Team Participation Requirements

NB!!!To participate in the Easter Soccer Tournament 2026, teams must meet the following requirements:

1. Compulsory Social Impact Requirement:

The winning team will be required to initiate a drug awareness campaign in their community, aligned with the tournament theme “Our Goals Are Bigger Than Drugs.”

2. Campaign Proposal Submission:

As part of the registration process, teams must draft and submit a brief drug awareness campaign proposal, outlining:

• The concept and objectives of the campaign
• How the campaign will be implemented
• When it will be implemented should the team win the tournament

NB: This proposal must be submitted together with the Tournament Registration Form.

3. Team Submission Requirements:

• A Team Profile
• Team photographs
• A short motivation explaining why they should be part of the tournament
• A completed Tournament Registration Form

3. Social Media Presence:

Teams must have an active social media presence.
Teams without a social media presence will be automatically excluded.

5. Prize Money Disbursement Condition

The winning team will receive 70% of the prize money upon confirmation of the initiation of the approved drug awareness campaign.
The remaining balance will be paid after the campaign has been implemented, in line with the agreed proposal.
