The Edgar Legoale Foundation extends its heartfelt congratulations to Selogilwe Primary School on securing Second Position at the South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod (SASCE) National Championships in the Folklore category while proudly representing the Free State Province.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the talent, dedication and discipline demonstrated by the learners, educators and everyone who contributed to the school’s success. Competing on a national stage and emerging as one of the country’s top-performing schools is an accomplishment worthy of celebration and recognition.
The Foundation also congratulates Phehellang Secondary School for proudly representing the Free State at the national competition. Participation at this level reflects the school’s commitment to excellence and the dedication of its learners, educators and support structures. The Foundation commends the school for showcasing its talent on a national platform and encourages its learners to continue striving for excellence in all their endeavours.
The Foundation acknowledges the important role that arts and culture play in nurturing creativity, preserving our rich heritage and providing young people with opportunities to develop their talents beyond the classroom. Achievements such as these inspire other learners to pursue excellence and demonstrate that with commitment, discipline and perseverance, success is within reach.
Chairperson of the Edgar Legoale Foundation, Mr Edgar Legoale, commended both schools for representing the Free State with distinction.
