Ngwathe Easter Experience 2026 – An Integrated Easter Development Programme
The Edgar Legoale Foundation is proud to officially announce the full rollout of the Ngwathe Easter Experience 2026, a comprehensive, multi-event Easter development programme taking place from 21 March to 05 April 2026 in Tumahole and Parys, Free State.
The Ngwathe Easter Experience is not merely a music festival. It is a structured, policy-aligned and community-driven platform that integrates education, youth development, sport, tourism, arts and culture, SMME empowerment and family-centred social cohesion.
As outlined in our Master Sponsorship & Partnership Proposal , the 2026 programme has evolved into an integrated Easter activation designed to deliver measurable socio-economic impact within Ngwathe Local Municipality and the broader Fezile Dabi District.
A PROGRAMME WITH PURPOSE
Founded in 2023, the Ngwathe Easter Experience was established to respond to key challenges in our community, including:
For 2026, the programme has been deliberately redesigned to align with national, provincial and municipal development frameworks while creating visible and practical impact over a focused two-week Easter period.
FULL PROGRAMME CALENDAR
The Ngwathe Easter Experience 2026 consists of the following interconnected events:
1. Hiking & Outdoor Tourism Experience

Promoting wellness, healthy living and domestic tourism activation.
2. Tumahole High Schools Games
📅 28 March 2026
📍 Tumahole Sports Ground
Providing structured sporting competition for learners and strengthening youth discipline and talent identification.
3. Career Exhibition & Subject Choice Expo (Grades 10–12)
📅 02 April 2026
📍 Fezile Dabi Stadium
Targeting 1 000+ learners with career guidance, tertiary exposure, bursary information and subject alignment support.
4. Small Businesses & SMME Expo
📅 03 April 2026
📍 Fezile Dabi Stadium
Creating market access and visibility for local entrepreneurs, informal traders and youth-owned businesses.
5. Ngwathe Easter Experience – Main Music Festival
