The Edgar Legoale Foundation announces the appointment of Mzwandile Sontyale, popularly known as “Dj Pots,” as the new Manager for our soccer tournament, the Edgar Legoale Knockout. This event, which has been a cornerstone of community sports since its inception in 2018, is held during the Easter and festive seasons. Blessing Maphisa has also been appointed as the Assistant Manager to support Dj Pots in his new role.

Dj Pots has been an integral part of the tournament since it began, serving as the main commentator. In his new position, he will also act as the official spokesperson for the tournament brand. The foundation assures all stakeholders and sponsors of its ongoing stability and commitment to excellence.

The upcoming tournament is scheduled for 14-23 December 2024. Dj Pots has already met with the Foundation Chairperson, Edgar Legoale, and the marketing team to outline his plans, which will be revealed in the coming days. He will also announce the team he will be working with.

Edgar Legoale has warmly welcomed Dj Pots to his new role and has pledged his full support. He stated, “I have strong belief in the new management and vowed to give them space to manage our big soccer tournament, which is the biggest in the province, to take it to the next level. We are excited to see the fresh ideas and energy that Dj Pots will bring to the tournament. The foundation is confident that this new leadership will enhance our tournament’s reputation and impact.”
